Finnan linked with Blackburn move
Liverpool defender Steve Finnan could be set for a move away from Anfield to join Barclays Premier League rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Finnan was left out of Rafa Benitez’s 18-man squad for the weekend win over Middlesbrough. He has yet to feature for the Reds this season and with just six days to go until the end of the transfer window, the 32-year-old Ireland international is keen to move on. Should he complete a move to Ewood Park, Finnan would be the solution to Blackburn’s long-standing problem at right full. Midfielders Steven Reid and Brett Emerton filled in at right back for Blackburn under Mark Hughes last season, while new boss Paul Ince has turned to centre half Andre Ooijer so far this term.

Pemain yang pernah digelar pemain paling konsisten dalam liverpool boleh dikatakan masih berguna kerana pemain bermain lain seperti Degen masih cedera serta Darby masih kurang pengalaman. Walaupun musim lalu permainan agak merosot diakhir musim hingga menyebabkan posisi Bek Kanan diambil alih oleh Arbeloa musim ini, namun pengalaman beliau amat ditagih oleh pasukan Liga Perdana lain.
