Pepe Reina is the target of a £20million bid from Barcelona. The Spanish goalkeeper began his career at the Nou Camp and his father also played for the Catalan club and now Pep Guardiola is targeting the Liverpool star as a potential replacement for Victor Valdes. Valdes' is set to leave the Nou Camp - Manchester United are keen - and Guardiola is eager to sign Reina as his replacement. Valdes has a year of his contract to run but rather than let him go on a free, Barcelona may sell him and use the funds to persuade Rafael Benitez to let Reina go.
Reina's value has rocketed following his £6million move to Merseyside from Villarreal in 2005 and the 26-year-old has strong ties with Barcelona, with father Miguel living in the city.
Benitez does not want to sell Reina, whose contract at Anfield expires in 2014, but he may be forced into a sale to fund his summer spending spree.
Sekarang baru diorang menyesal lepaskan Pepe. Tapi masa Pepe main dengan Barca umur beliau baru setahun jagung, malahan plak masa tu Galakticos De Madrid memang tidak terkalah.
