Some regard him as the best player in the world - but now Brazilian superstar Kaka has lifted the lid on which footballers he loves to watch.
The AC Milan playmaker named Steven Gerrard in his top three favourite footballers, describing his as 'the complete modern player'.
Kaka saw first hand how destructive Gerrard can be in the 2005 Champions League final, while the pair also met as Milan gained revenge in Athens in 2007.
The 26-year-old told FourFourTwo magazine: "It's a difficult question, but if I had to choose three, I would pick Cristiano Ronaldo, because of his skill and speed; Messi, because of his flair and skills; and Steven Gerrard, who for me is the complete modern player."
Kaka's comments come just weeks after fellow Ballon d'Or and World Cup winner Zinedine Zidane labelled Liverpool's skipper the best player on the planet.
