Norway international Mohammed Abdellaoue insists he has no regrets about turning down a trial at Manchester United. The 23-year-old Valerenga forward was linked with United at the end of last year but, when asked about a possible move at the time, he revealed that he is a Liverpool supporter and played down the interest. And, when asked if he had any regrets about staying in Norway, he told Nettavisen: “No. I only look forwards.
“The opportunity to move on came after only four months' experience in the Tippeligaen. “I think it is important to show what I can do first.”
He added: “I have ambitions to move abroad. The club know that and I am not hiding anything. “I’m waiting for the right offer – an offer that I feel is right for me.
“It is about playing well for Valerenga and, when I get a chance, for Norway.”
Asked if he expects to leave the club this year, he said: “I’m not sure.
“I must continue to perform for Valerenga. That is the most important thing.”
